ClipScript (https://clipscript.app) is an independent web app that turns video and audio into text, built around the search “video transcript generator”: transcripts with timestamps, subtitles, and write-ups made from them. Operated by Cicadas. Contact: support@cicadas.ai.

## What is this video transcript generator?

ClipScript turns a public short-video link into text. Paste a TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube Short, Facebook or X video URL; a server fetches the audio, Whisper large v3 turbo writes it down, and the words come back with timestamps as plain text, SRT or VTT. Three runs a day are free without an account; after that it is 3 credits a minute, about 3 cents. Nothing is published: the transcript is yours alone.
