The first three videos a day, up to 3 minutes each, are free without an account. Beyond that you buy a credit pack once and pay 3 credits for every minute of video, rounded up to the next minute. Packs are valid for a year.

3 credits for every minute of video, rounded up to the next minute. The first three videos a day, up to 3 minutes each, are free without an account; a run that fails is not charged.

Questions
What does one transcript cost?
3 credits a minute of video, rounded up: a 0:45 video is 3 credits, a 1:01 video is 6. With the $15 pack of 1,500 credits, 1 credit is $0.01, so a minute is 3 cents and the pack is 500 minutes.
What stays free?
Three runs a day per visitor, for videos up to 3 minutes, with no account. A video transcribed here in the last 7 days is served again free, for anyone who pastes the same link.
Do credits expire?
Pack credits are valid for 365 days from purchase.
Do I get credits back if a run fails?
Yes. A private post, a dead link, a video past the limit or a model error returns the credits on its own. Only a transcript that came back is charged.
How long a video can I transcribe?
Up to 10 minutes with credits, 3 minutes on a free run. A longer link is refused before anything is charged.
What does a long video cost?
40 credits per started minute of narration, worked out from the script at 150 words a minute, up to 10 minutes. Writing the script is free. A failed render is refunded.
What does a blog post or summary cost?
From the same transcript: blog post or newsletter 4 credits, summary, chapters, clip moments or X thread 2, plus one credit per 20,000 characters of transcript past the first 20,000. A run the model fails is refunded.
What does an AI thumbnail cost?
12 to 20 credits an image at 1K, by model, computed from the catalog and shown before you generate; the table below lists each. A failed or refused image is refunded.
Can I get an invoice?
Payments are handled by Stripe. For an invoice with a company name or tax number, write to support@cicadas.ai with your order number.
