How do you get the transcript of a Xiaohongshu video?
In the app, tap Share on the note and copy the link; paste it above and press the button. The server fetches the video's audio, Whisper large v3 turbo writes it down, and the text comes back with timestamps as plain text, SRT or VTT. Pick 中文 in the language menu for a Mandarin note, or leave it on automatic. Three runs a day are free without an account for notes up to 3 minutes; after that it is 3 credits a minute.

Is this Xiaohongshu transcript generator free?
Three runs a day are free without an account, for videos up to 3 minutes. After that it is 3 credits a minute, rounded up, with videos up to 10 minutes; see pricing. A run that fails is not charged.
How accurate is it?
The sample above lists every word the model wrote differently from our script. It was a clean voice we recorded ourselves; real posts with music or several voices will do worse, and we have not measured those yet.
Is my transcript published anywhere?
No. A transcript is private to the browser or the account that asked for it. ClipScript is not affiliated with Xiaohongshu.
Does it translate the transcript into English?
Not yet. The transcript comes back in the language spoken. Translation is on the list; for now paste the text into a translator.
Why does a short link sometimes fail?
xhslink.com links carry a token that expires after a while. Copy a fresh link from the app and try again; a failed run is not charged.
